The alumni of Twin Peaks are making a comeback.

Season 3 of Twin Peaks has remained very mysterious since the announcement of the return of the series. Scheduled for May 21 on the Showtime channel and May 22 on Canal +, the series had unveiled only a few snippets of clues, a few images without real revelations. This time, we finally get a glimpse of some characters… who have taken a little old shot! 25 years later, it does not rejuvenate anyone to see the actors of this cult series retrace their steps to embark us again in the foggy universe of David Lynch.

We also know that several other alumni of the series will return such as Laura Palmer (Sheryl Lee), Audrey (Sherilyn Fenn) or James (James Marshall) and that several new ones have come to complete the cast. Director David Lynch himself is set to reprise his role as Gordon Cole.

A few days ago, a trailer surfaced to plunge us back into the city of Twin Peaks : with images still sublime, we could find the Sheriff's office, the RR2Go Café and even the misty mountains around. Without ever revealing too much, these short trailers simply make you want to be there.

The first two episodes of season 3 of Twin Peaks will be broadcast at the Cannes Film Festival before being available on May 21 on Showtime and May 22 on Canal+.
