Eleven Songs, Alyosha album that follows the EP Sorry Eyes released in the fall of 2016 is a little gem.

Eleven compositions full of sweetness, clean titles and a voice full of sensitivity. It's impossible not to feel the influences of Bob Dylan, Eliott Smith or Nick Drake. Something is starting today… The album begins with The Start which immediately plunges us into the hushed universe of the artist. Mixing acoustic ballads with As good as you or Feels like and electric titles like Crystal Plane, Aliocha moves us with Jamie and Flash in the pan. Sorry Eyes from the previous EP is slightly reminiscent of a Verve vibe. Let yourself be carried away.

His face is probably familiar to you. Aliocha is the youngest of the Schneider siblings and you must have already met the eyes of the elder Niels (Les Amours Imaginaires by Xavier Dolan). The resemblance is disturbing.

From a theater man father and a businesswoman model, Aliocha was born in Paris and grew up in Montreal. It was at this time, around the age of 10, that he improvised himself as an actor in a Quebec soap opera and then very quickly on the big screen as well as in the theatre.

The place that music takes in his life makes sense at the age of 16. A hobby during his acting years, he decided to devote all of his time to it. The trigger takes place during a meeting with the artist Jean Leloup. He offers him to record a first demo in the studio: 8 tracks will result, serving his first EP (at Audiogram).

The songwriter became friends a few years later with Samy Osta (La Femme, Feu! Chatterton, Rover) who will co-produce his compositions. The entire EP and album were recorded in a studio in Gothenburg and conceived as a whole. Thanks to a common sensitivity and a strong complicity, the album makes sense.
