Scheduled for a European release on PS4 and PS Vita this summer, The Lost Child will also be released on Nintendo Switch!

Spin-off of the action game El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron, The Lost Child is a turn-based RPG, developed by Kadokawa Games, released in Japan last summer on PS4 and PS Vita. Nis America will publish it in the West this summer, and tells us that this opus will also be released on Nintendo's hybrid console.

This game is directed by Sawaki Takeyasu, who is both its director and its character-design, he is known in the video-game world for his work on Okami, Devil May Cry or God Wars ; The Lost Child takes us into a conflict between demons, which takes place in modern Japan:

Hayato Ibuki, a journalist who descends into the occult, meets a strange girl while investigating a series of mysterious suicides in Tokyo. She begs him to live, before handing him a magical device that will allow him to capture celestial and arcane creatures. Now evolving in a world that is inaccessible to us, filled with terrifying demons and celestial beings, he must survey dungeons called Layers and solve the mystery surrounding this device. The fate of the world may well depend on his adventure…

Entirely in English or Japanese, a collector's edition is planned like all games published by Nis America in the West exclusive to their European shop.
