The Lion King is certainly one of the classics that has most marked the minds of aficionados of Disney films. The first animated film and the musical contributed to this. Disney studios are continuing their policy of translating their animated films into live action films. The cast for The Lion King is promising.

For his new creation, Jon Favreau called on the best from different disciplines. It is an obligation for this adaptation to live up to the myth. We are bound to expect a flood of technological innovations that will be even more surprising than those unveiled in The Jungle Book. We know for the moment that the film will be released in France on July 17, 2019, and in the United States on July 19, 2019.

Jon Favreau expressed his joy about this project:

"It's a director's dream to assemble such a talented team to bring this legendary story to life."

Dubbing will be provided by a host of prestigious names. One example is Donald Glover, the actor the general public knew in the comedy series Community. He is present in different sectors lately since we could see him in the series Atlanta awarded by the critics. he will have the heavy responsibility of doubling Simba. Superstar Beyoncé will play Nala, her best friend. The legendary voice actor, James Earl Jones, will be Mufasa, Simba's father. Chiwetel Ejiofor and Alfre Woodard complete the cast.

For a film of this register, it will necessarily require a team of technicians to match. In order for The Lion King to be as realistic as possible, here are some names of those who will animate the animals and other jungle settings, Rob Legato (AVATAR, TITANIC), the head of animation Andrew R. Jones (THE JUNGLE BOOK, AVATAR), visual effects supervisor Adam Valdez (the first two films of LORD OF THE RINGS, THE JUNGLE BOOK).

A cocktail of talented artists that makes us want to quickly discover the feature film.
