Following the rain of the day before, it is with boots that we faced the second day of the Eurockéennes festival!

    Last Train

Last Train is a young French band that has shown us that a bright future awaits them! Indeed they knew how to surround the public with incredible ease, while it had just opened the festivities. This is surely due to their knowledge of the Eurockéennes as festival-goers and children of the region as they pointed out, recalling their beginnings in a bar. Moreover, they thanked all those who have followed them since the beginning and the most recent, and it is with emotion that they left the stage.

    Mellow Mood

Mellow Mood is a reggae band made up of twin brothers who opened the festivities on the big stage. They particularly marked us as much by their sound, which is their own, as by their good humor, but especially because they brought us the sun on the Malsaucy site. Moreover, it was a receptive audience that was present : songs, dances and applause!

    Beck

Beck is an American singer who ignited the big stage of the Eurockéennes! Indeed he played many songs of his own but also some covers of essential titles such as Billie Jean Michael Jackson, to the delight of festival-goers. Beck also dazzled us with a beautiful scene.Indeed the decorations were more surprising than each other! Then the singer said that among all the times he performed in France, it was this Saturday, July 2 that was his favorite show. And we understand it because the audience was particularly great with its dances and songs!

    Air

Despite the presence of Louise Attaque on the big stage, the beach has for being deserted for Air. Indeed they knew how to bring freshness with an airy sound that could only charm festival-goers after sunset. Certainly, we can call this group electro but do not expect to find someone behind turntables: Air was accompanied by many keyboards, drums and guitars.

    Foals

The British of Foals set us on fire again! Indeed, after having bewitched the Olympia in February, it was the turn of the Greenroom of the Eurockéennes. The group has chained the titles with an energy of their own. The English have often communicated with the public, including a reference to Brexit confirming that they love France and Europe. Then the drummer Jack Bevan, who sought applause by standing up, the lead singer Yannis who never stopped thanking the crowd and who came to meet the public: a first time with a guitar and the second time for the title What Went Down where he let himself be carried by the crowd! Moreover, it was a delirious crowd that was present for Foals : pogo, people carried in the audience, shouts, songs in heart! In short, we can say that Foals has put everyone in agreement on the fact that they are essential and talented!

    Disclosure

Disclosure, this duo of brothers from the United Kingdom, came to close this day of Eurockéennes on the big stage! All the festival-goers were there to dance and, of course, Disclosure set fire on stage, and not only with When A Fire Starts to Burn. The rhythms of their latest album have, literally, thrilled the crowd. And what would a Disclosure show have been without the intervention of a guest? You can't make a featured album and come to a festival without any performer… But this is never the case with these little geniuses of electro! So we were able to attend a live of Brendan Reilly, to interpret the title Moving Mountains. A surprise that gave another dimension to this set. In short, we wanted more and more!

In the end, the second day of the Eurockéennes festival was a beautiful continuation of the first day. For now, we can say that the Eurockéennes are just great!
