While the first season of the series Luke Cage landed on Netflix this Friday, the production has already made a casting announcement for the series that will bring together the four Marvel heroes of television, The Defenders.
It is the actress Simone Missick, aka Misty Knight that we will find in the cast of The Defenders ! The latter later confirmed the news to the American site The Wrap in these terms : "I think I have the right to say that I will be in 'The Defenders'. Spoiler Alert! If I lose my job because of this interview, sorry! I had to be on The Defenders, until I got fired."
In addition to her colleagues Charlie Cox (Matt "Daredevil" Murdock), Kristen Ritter (Jessica Jones) and Finn Jones (Daniel "Iron Fist" Rand), the actress joins the cast Elden Henson aka Nelson Foggy, but also Eka Darville, Jessica Jones' former neighbor, Malcolm.
Perhaps this addition means that the character of Misty Knight will get his robotic arm like in the comics? And why not a cameo of Robert Downey Jr aka Tony Stark (Iron Man), since it is he who offers him in the comics…
Filming of The Defenders is expected to begin in New York at the end of the year for broadcast at the end of 2017.
