Steve Rogers (better known as Captain America) is one of the best-known superheroes in the Marvel Universe. And he has a great track record (as well as a splendid shield). A captain in the army, he was a hero during the Second World War against the Nazis. He was also before, during, and after his 70-year "hibernation" an American national and patriotic symbol. Cards and posters bearing his likeness were distributed to the American population. He is also one of the members, if not the first, of the Avengers group.

    The origins of the Captain

Steve Rogers is from New York. He has a frail and puny physique. During the mobilization for the entry of the United States into the war in WW2, the latter wants more than anything to serve his country. But his state of health and his disadvantageous physique close the doors of the army. Desperate, he meets a scientist who has developed a serum to multiply the capacities of his host. People with good hearts become better. On the other hand, bad people get worse. Seeing the opportunity to serve his country at hand, Rogers agreed to receive the serum. The operation finished, the puny has made way a tall athlete, muscular, and two to three times superior to a normal human being in all respects (strength, endurance, healing etc ..) Captain América is "born".

The Avengers group initially consisted of Hulk, Thor, Iron-man, Hawkeye, Black Widow and Captain America. We can see the latter in Captain America First Avenger, The Winter Soldier, Civil War.We also see it in Avengers 1, 2, 3 and soon in the 4. In this next installment, Captain Rogers (on the run and still on the verge of a fugitive in Avengers 3) will be given a more important role, which will give his character the value he deserves. The goal of Avengers 4 co-writer Christopher Markus (Captains America, Thor: The Dark World) is to bring him to the forefront.  During the presentation of a video with Stephen McFeely (with whom he wrote the scripts of Infinity War and Avengers 4), the latter say that The story of the Captain will be part of the next installment. They stated:

"It's a great opportunity, because some characters will have a bit of an advantage over others. We can say that Captain America will have a more important story in the second."

Chris Evans will once again play Captain Rogers. Scheduled for May 3, 2019, this film will mark the fourth in the Avengers saga. It is said that it will mark the end of a Marvel era. Business to follow. In the meantime, rediscover our guide to the Marvel Cinematic Universe
