Information published on the Belgian website Tax Shelter Belgium, would reveal that Gaspar Noé, director of sulphurous and controversial works, such as Love, Irreversible, Enter The Void or Carne, would currently be shooting his next film, entitled Psyché.

The fifth feature film by the Italian-Argentine director, screenwriter and producer, Psyche focuses on a group of young dancers.

    The synopsis?

"In the mid-90s, about twenty young urban dancers who had gathered for a 3-day rehearsal workshop in a disused boarding school located in the heart of a forest, do their last common dance and then offer themselves a last evening of celebration around a large bowl of sangria.

Quickly, the atmosphere becomes electric and a strange madness will seize them all night. If it seems obvious to them that they have been drugged, they do not know by whom or why. And it is soon impossible for them to resist their neuroses and psychoses, transfixed by the hypnotic and increasingly electric rhythms of music… While some feel in heaven, most of them plunge into hell."

For the moment, no information regarding the casting or the release date in French theaters has been announced. According to the Belgian site, we only know that the filming must last 15 days and is supposed to take place in Paris. Another information, Psyché would be made in French, unlike Love (2015) and Enter The Void (2010), the two previous feature films by Gaspar Noé!

Would the newcomer be as controversial as Love, which divided the 2015 edition of the Cannes Film Festival? Answer on the screens of the dark rooms in some time…
