The American band The Lumineers has just released a new video for their track Sleep On The Floor from their album Cleopatra.
We announced it earlier in the year: The Lumineers made their comeback with the release of their second opus Cleopatra, available on their official website. The trio composed of Wesley Keith Schultz, Jeremiah Caleb Fraites and Neyla Pekarek has already shared many excerpts including Ophelia, Angela, Cleopatra and more recently Sleep On The Floor!

For the title Sleep On The Floor, The Lumineers offers us a very moving video that takes place at the beginning of what is supposed to be a funeral, then we follow the adventures of a couple in love across the United States who end up getting married. Then we understand, or at least we assume, that in reality the funeral was that of the husband, which makes this video poetic but also very sad.
The Lumineers showed us once again that they are a band that knows how to touch through their videos, but also their titles such as Sleep On The Floor, from Cleopatra.
