CBS has finally released the trailer for the spin-off of The Good Wife, entitled The Good Fight and one thing is clear: There is movement!
On February 19, the new series The Good Fight, based on the world of The Good Wife, will make its appearance. Be careful though: no Alicia Florrick, no story of broken marriage, adultery, etc. This spin-off centers on Diane Lockhart (Christine Baranski), Lucca Quinn (Cush Jumbo) and new recruit Rose Leslie. The series is set a year after the end of The Good Wife and will have a much more business aspect. Indeed, we will follow the adventures of these three characters who are going through a great professional crisis. Diane will have lost all her money during a financial scandal and will be forced to leave her office… And she may take her two acolytes with her.
However, there is no question of forgetting all the old characters. We will find Marissa Gold the daughter of Eli (Sarah Steele), Kurt McVeigh the husband of Diane (Gary Cole), David Lee the partner lawyer (Zach Grenier), Howard Lyman (Jerry Adler) and finally Elbeth Tascioni the excellent lawyer (Carrie Preston).
The first trailer sets a rhythmic and very dynamic tone to prepare us for this series which promises to be very interesting! The Good Fight will, however, only be available online at CBSAllAcess.
