Sneaky Pete is one of Amazon's most interesting original creations. The critically acclaimed series is about to make its comeback for a season 2 that will arrive on March 9 on Amazon Prime Video.
Actor Giovanni Ribisi is the headliner of this show. He is joined by Marin Ireland, Emmy Award-winning Margo Martindale, Peter Gerety, Libe Barer and Shane McRae. Executive producers include Bryan Cranston, the unforgettable Walter White of Breaking Bad.
This co-production (with Sony) focuses on a con artist who is barely out of prison and is forced to assume a new identity (that of his prison neighbor). He hopes to escape the mobster to whom he owes money. You can imagine that everything will not be as easy as expected and that his new family will not be easy for him.
Giovanni is one of those talented actors whose face we know but not the name. The fault certainly lies in the fact that he has chained the secondary roles, the dubbing … On this project, he took risks that paid off since the series is one of the best programs on Amazon. After a season 1 rich in twists and turns, the second salvo is particularly awaited.
