During a meeting soon available on video, Florent Degletagne, the publisher of Bliss comics had unveiled his next releases:

First of all, an exclusive

My next big crush is a title I haven't announced yet: Living Level 3 with an episode on Iraq, one on South Sudan and a third in preparation. It is a title created for the World Food Programme. Joshua Dysart, who did Harbinger at Valiant, is the screenwriter. He is a very committed author and one of the best comic book writers of the last fifteen years. It is drawn by Alberto Ponticelli with whom he has already worked on The Unknown Soldier and with Pat Masioni, a Congolese cartoonist who lives in Paris. Released only online and in English, it is a shocking series. It tells the daily life of the populations and staff of the World Food Programme in areas where there is the highest level of urgency in the UN classification. The authors travelled with the food program on site for several months. They interviewed people to advertise to raise funds from countries.

Emergency level 3

It will be released in large format. This is the first time that a paper version will be released in the world. This won't be the last project outside Valiant.

Upcoming releases expected

We're taking a little break this summer and coming back at the end of August. The big release of the fall is Bloodshot Salvation, the new title of Jeff Lemire, nominated at the Eisner Awards as best writer, which takes over from Blood Reborn. It's a super powerful title that manages to stand out from Bloodshot Reborn with a creative team of patients: Lewis laRosa, Mico Suayan… We may be preparing a surprise, a special edition for this title to highlight these two artists. We'll see what it does when a nanotechnology-infused killing machine has a child. This can induce some small health risks for the child.

We have a complete story about Faith because her regular series ended in March. We have a new complete narrative accessible, fun with time travel: Faith and the Future Force.

Faith, a heroine soon to be in the cinema

The sequel to Britannia, really cool story, well gore and well barred. This takes place in ancient Rome completely detached from the Valiant universe. It's a bit like The X-Files in the Roman Empire.

We have a fairly wide range of titles with a mix of new fairly short series and accessible complete stories:

Eternity, a sequel to Matt Kindt's Eisner Award-nominated Divinity

– the sequel to X-O Manowar also by Matt Kindt

Emergency level 3 in October

At the end of the year, For Christmas, we will be able to offer integrals with a reprint of Archer & Armstrong in October and in November volume 1 of Rai and the complete Harbinger.

JustFocus will be happy to chronicle these different releases!
