Ubisoft announces the new "Operation Para Bellum" update for its game Rainbow Six Siege. An update containing various content such as a new map and two new defense agents. It will only be available in June 2018.
This content-rich update introduces the new Villa map, a map designed for the new competitive mode. But not only that! Indeed, it will now be possible for players to embody two new defense agents, Alibi and Maestro.
The new Agent, Alibi, is an undercover specialist in the Gruppo di Intervento Speciale (G.I.S). She is cunning and has a real knack for infiltrating organized crime networks. Alibi has a Hologram allowing him to fool his opponents and thus make his identification difficult. 
Maestro is also a member of the Gruppo di Intervento Speciale (G.I.S.) and participated in several operations in Iraq during which he inherited a scar to his face caused by an improvised explosive device. Maestro is known for its bulletproof mobile turret that is able to see through smoke and launch laser beams from short distances.
"Operation Para Bellum" also introduces a new "Pick & Ban" system that will allow teams to develop new strategies, choosing and then banning an Agent in turn to destabilize their opponents. Each player can even anticipate a final change by choosing a 6th Agent to exchange at the last moment with one of the Agents already selected and keep an element of surprise.
Other minor new features are also announced:
- Armored cameras for defenders
- A new defuse blocking animation
- corrections to the alignment of riflescopes
- A new management of observation tools
- an adjustment of the speed of the Agents
- a buff from Agent Echo, who receives a second drone
- an improvement to the Clubhouse card
An update that PC gamers will be able to test right now. However for the others it will be necessary to wait until June to be able to discover all this in play.
