Otis Stacks a soul project, with vintage sounds, and contemporary arrangements, carried by an emotional and thoughtful writing that will not leave you indifferent. Since pioneers like US3 or The Roots, hip hop and jazz have been working together heartily to deliver us, generally, good chilled cocktails. A mix of genres that we like to listen to on headphones while walking on the endless sidewalks of big cities, and Otis Stacks is here to get everyone to agree. This duo consists of Californian singer Elias Wallace and Dafuniks producer JustMike. For the first single from their EP released by Underdog Records and that we were able to discover at the Mama Festival, Otis Stacks invites The Gift of Gab by the Blackalicous on Fashion Drunk and its incredible animated clip that evokes the graphics of Gorillaz. It was during a tour in the French Alps bringing together Elias and the Danish band Dafuniks, that Elias and JustMike were able to record a song that later became "Fashion Drunk" founding title that will definitively seal the entity Otis Stacks.
