It fell today, Orphan Black will have a season 5, but it will unfortunately be the last.

While the last episode of season 4 will be broadcast tonight in the United States, BBC America has announced that we will find our favorite clones in a fifth season, which will also be the last. This season 5 will have 10 episodes and will be broadcast in 2017.

Obviously, the whole Clone Club is saddened by this news, the fans of the series are not as numerous as it deserves, but they are loyal. We love following the adventures of Sarah, Alison, Cosima, Rachel and company, especially since the plot has thickened this season with the revelations about Beth and the introduction of the Brightborn Institute.

If we have to find a positive point in this announcement, it is that we will be entitled to an end worthy of the name with a complete resolution of the plots!

Fans have one last fight to fight before the end of the series: get an Emmy for Tatiana Maslany who plays ALL the clones. So far, she has only had one nomination last year, let's hope that this last season will result in a consecration for the actress who dazzles us season after season.
