Niall Horan… I already told you about it a few weeks ago in our weekly playlist (with a selection of the best new music!), Niall Horan has finally released his first solo single. So yes, it comes from One Direction, and yes, we have always taken a malicious pleasure in (nicely) making fun of anything that looks like a boyband. But believe me, the young Irishman has a good dose of significant talent. So forget your preconceived ideas and prejudices, and let yourself be tempted…

Between Passenger and Ed Sheeran, Niall Horan imposes his British folk style, quite far from what his ex-partner in crime Zayn Malik does. His voice, which is not revolutionary, wanders on the melody of the title and seems to convey the nostalgia and sensitivity of the young artist.
All that remains is to wait to see what Niall Horan's future album has in store for us, hoping to find other pretty nuggets like This Town.
