While Nintendo's new console, the Switch will celebrate its first candle in March, the loyalty program of its manufacturer My Nintendo will be operational for the console the same month!

For those who do not know the loyalty program My Nintendo, it offers as its name suggests to reward software buyers on the consoles of the manufacturer. If its advantages are mostly dispensable, given that it represents a free service, it is nevertheless good to take. Each purchase gives you points that can be used in a virtual shop, allowing you to obtain official wallpapers, themes and even discounts for purchases on the e-shop.

My Nintendo 1

Currently available for 3DS family handheld consoles or Wii and Wii-u home consoles, the program did not offer any content for Nintendo Switch, although your purchases allowed you to collect points. Today Nintendo says that this problem will be solved in March by opening a section dedicated to their new baby.

If Nintendo's article announces good news, the ratio of gold points / reduction already seems to ignite the web. Indeed, the Japanese firm announces that one point will be equivalent to a cent discount on the e-shop, while at the moment our purchases bring about 1% of gold points and 5 times less for physical games, nevertheless this rate should increase from March!

Ex: currently a game in box bought 60 euros gives you 14 gold points, this same game bought via the e-shop gives you 70 points, in March an e-shop game bought 60 euros will give you 300 gold points, and this same game in box will give 60 gold points. 300 gold points allow you to get 3 euros voucher on the e-shop.

Tip : If you have games in mind and you are not in a hurry to acquire them, wait until March and the launch of the program, because to date, the gold points awarded by your purchases on the e-shop earn you less than when the program is operational!

To wait, all you have to do is get started in Dragon Quest Builders or Bayonetta 1 & 2 available respectively on February 9 and 16, 2018!
