The comedy Uncle Buck worn by the American comedian and comedian Mike Epps has just been officially canceled by the ABC channel.

End clap for the comedy Uncle Buck which has just undergone the hard law of television, that of cancellation! At its worst in terms of audiences in recent weeks, the series based on the homonymous film will unfortunately not have a second season, announced the ABC channel via a statement. The episode that aired last Tuesday (with 3.4 million viewers) served as a final series.

A news that was quickly confirmed also by some actors of the series. Witness the tweet of James Lesure, the interpreter of the character of Will Russell in the series who says he is "disappointed but proud despite everything to have worked with this channel and to have had the chance to entertain fans of the series."

It must be said that it is with a heavy heart that the ABC channel decided to cancel this series, because its debut was surprising in terms of audience. The first episode had gathered 5.2 million viewers. The sequel was much more difficult despite the good will of the actors.

As a reminder, Uncle Buck follows Buck , an incorrigible bachelor who has always been able to count on his charm. When his brother Will and sister-in-law Alexis move to the same city as him and need help with their children, he becomes their nanny.
