We bet that Vaiteani's voice will make you melt from the first notes of Silver Ocean, it's the kind of titles that immediately fascinate and make you want to discover who is behind the Vaiteani label. They are two, Luc with instruments who comes from metropolitan France, and Vaiteani, the pretty Tahitian with the golden voice. This couple deploys an exotic music, very pop, and admit to love Ben Harper, Beyonce, Tracy Chapman …. Vaiteani's warm and sensual voice is reminiscent of that of Tracy Chapman and the arrangements concocted by Luc systematically invite escape by mixing Polynesian sounds with Anglo-Saxon pop. If Luc is from Alsace, it is he who brings his touch of exoticism with the instruments he chooses (ukulele, udu, African balafon, calabash, etc.). Noble, modest, Vaiteani sings his inner world on Luke's illuminations. Two soul-hearts have united and form one and the same name.
