On May 13, 2022, the Polydor label and its artist Simia present Trop Tard, a second EP in the image of its performer.  As its name suggests, the EP is focused on the notion of time and what it implies, on the will to cross barriers despite fears and doubts.  Through Trop Tard, Simia delivers an authentic portrait of who he is and his vision of the world. He shares his experience It is in a way a musical autobiography. There is an assortment of songs colored by shades of rock, pop, rap and sprinkled with that feeling of melancholy specific to the new generation of artists. A drawing perfectly linking the lucidity of a young man and the poetry of an artist.  Themes such as love, nostalgia, the anguish of the passing of time, the fulfillment of dreams, are told through sung, rapped pieces, always accompanied by a guitar, a synth, a bass, and a drums. His singles, always consistent with the identity of the project, plunge us into the artist's universe, into his daily life, into his head… We see him in particular in Elle te hante, microphone in hand and filmed in different shots, singing his experience of a missed opportunity. A slow and melancholic piece in which Simia seems to address herself and tells this almost obsessive feeling that we can feel in front of a person who attracts our attention. A piece that would speak to many young people of his generation. A few days ago, Simia unveiled the video for the eponymous single Trop Tard, a gripping and poignant track that tells her insecurities and anguish of time passing at an age when nothing seems to be possible anymore. All in all, Trop Tard is a rather personal EP where Simia reveals her universe and her deepest thoughts. An EP that, by the authenticity of the one who interprets it, is aimed at a whole generation of passionate young people.
