The 52-year-old American actor would dream of seeing his character Hulk, the green colossus of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), in a film that would be entirely dedicated to him. Mark Ruffalo has slipped into the skin of Dr. Bruce Banner, aka Hulk, in five films of the Marvel Cinematic Universe since 2012. He succeeds Edward Norton in the coveted role of the character. And it was during an interview for Variety that the actor spoke about the future of the famous comic book character. Moreover, the latter could make an appearance in She-Hulk, the next series of the MCU in development for the Disney + platform.

"There is nothing done at the moment. There is talk of Bruce Banner/Hulk appearing in She-Hulk. If we find something good, that would be very interesting. But for now, that's about it. That's all on the table."

Mark Ruffalo: The actor would like a solo movie about the Hulk! That's what Mark Ruffalo revealed. The actor had already mentioned the hypothesis of appearing in the series at the Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo 2020 last March. However, Mark Ruffalo wants to go even further by confiding half-heartedly that a film entirely devoted to the green giant (accustomed to being relegated to the background next to his fellow superheroes) would not displease him.

"There is an idea that I find very interesting. We have never followed what is happening in his life. He is always in the background. It's a bit like the Rosencrantz and Guildenstern of the Avengers. So it would be interesting to know what happened to him between all these films."

It must be said that this project of a solo film has agitated fans since the release of The Incredible Hulk, worn by Edward Norton, in 2008. It was then phase 1 of the MCU. In any case, Mark Ruffalo has every reason to believe in this project, especially now that Black Widow also has a film dedicated to her. Who would like to see a solo Hulk movie?
