This year, movie monster Jack Nicholson celebrated his 84th birthday. Justfocus then returns to that hilarious day when the American actor received a BAFTA live from the set of One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest in 1975. Awards ceremonies are often iconic moments. That's what viewers at the 28th British Academy Film Awards in 1975 will tell you. On that day, Jack Nicholson received the BAFTA for Best Actor for his roles in The Last Chore and Chinatown. And the place of this discount is simply INCREDIBLE! Indeed, Jack Nicholson was not physically present on the London stage of the Royal Albert Hall to receive his award. But he still wanted to thank his peers… live from the set of One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Milos Forman's classic that he was then shooting in the United States, in the state of Oregon. We then describe this hilarious period scene. At first, Jack Nicholson seems to realize that he is speaking in a vacuum and that, to be heard, breaks the glass of the room in which he is.  Then, we see the actor who tries somehow to give a speech of thanks surrounded by the patients of the psychiatric hospital, including a rather invasive Danny DeVito. The scene concludes with Louise Fletcher arriving in her nurse Mildred Ratched gown, interrupting Nicholson 's speech and taking him back to his room. And we can say that this funny sketch during the BAFTA 1975 brought luck to Jack Nicholson. The following year, the actor was one of the big winners of another major ceremony namely the Oscars for his role as Randle Patrick McMurphy in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. But this time, he will pick up his reward in person. Justfocus invites you to (re)see this mythical scene in which Jack Nicholson receives his BAFTA live from the set of "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest", and it's quite eventful! https://youtu.be/gtHI0ipkgEo
