Don't miss a single American production? Desperate to see Dune, Black Widow, the next James Bond postponed until next year? Take this opportunity to open up to other registries. French cinema is teeming with the most qualitative independent productions . Rouge, an ecological thriller carried by Zita Hanrot is one of them.  Zita Hanrot, the general public knows her especially for her role in Plan coeur (the romantic series on Netflix) or her performance in the second production of Grand Corps Malade, La vie Scolaire. She plays Nour (a nurse) daughter of a shop steward working in a French chemical plant (played by Sami Bouajila). A health check takes place which puts Nour in a complicated situation. The film directed by Farid Bentoumi (Good Luck Algeria) has been screened in various prestigious festivals such as Deauville or Cannes. One of the advantages of this film is that it is not fiction. He draws his inspiration from real events, especially those concerning the so-called "red mud" scandal of the Alteo factory in Gardanne.

Red: An ecological thriller

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s9dUU6yfXdk&feature=emb_title&ab_channel=ADVITAM In recent years, ecological disasters have become more and more recurrent. We think of the terrible fires in Australia, the deforestation of the Amazon, the fires in California… The seventh art is probably a sector that can help human society become aware of everything that is happening. A film like Rouge denounces the misdeeds of factories that dump their products into the water. The pitch of this film is not an isolated case since it happens in the 4 corners of the world. Rouge should put us on the side of those who want to fight for the preservation of our environment, and those who work within this company. The film is distributed by Ad Vitam. It is released in France on November 25.
