A particularly appreciated American film

The festival offered us a selection of French and American short and feature films. This year, three awards were given to a single film. Indeed, the American documentary 17 Blocks has managed to stand out by touching the juries in the heart. A powerful film, directed by Davy Rothbar, which follows the life of an African-American family living in Washington. For nearly 20 years and 1000 hours of filming later, the film takes us back to a disturbing and still very current situation on the condition of black people in the United States. The film has accumulated the jury prize, the audience prize but also the critics' prize for best American feature film. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gp96SKXAhkQ&feature=youtu.be
