Synopsis
"In 1980, Tony "Scarface" Montana received an amnesty from the Cuban government to return to Florida. Ambitious and unscrupulous, he devised a plan to eliminate a kingpin from the underworld and take his place in the drug market."
Miami beach, sun, beautiful women and drugs… Released in 1983, Scarface has become a cult work over the years. First buried by critics upon its release because of its violence and coarse language, the film experienced a gain in popularity much later. If the film is unforgettable today, it is largely thanks to the formidable acting of Al Pacino. The genius actor has managed to erect Tony Montana into the pantheon of the most iconic characters in cinema. Love it or hate it, everyone knows Tony Montana. 
The screenplay of Scarface is also remembered. We witness a meteoric rise and then an even more brutal fall. Indeed, through this sharp criticism of the American dream lived by the eyes of Tony Montana, the director proves that this frantic race for power and money does not have only positive sides. "My hands are made for gold and they're in the!" Yes, Scarface also carries its share of cult replicas. It is also one of the strengths of the film, unique, frank dialogues that remain in the memories and in time. Many contemporary works do not hide their admirations for De Palma's film. Moreover, Vince Gilligan was clearly inspired by Antonio Montana for the character of Walter White in the series Breaking Bad !
