A new poster of the movie Creed 2 has finally been released. After that of Michael B. Jordan in Adonis, it's Sylvester Stallone's turn to reveal himself as Rocky.
Sylvester Stallone had the right to his character poster on the occasion of his birthday on July 6. We can now count two character posters, Adonis Johnson Creed and Rocky Balboa, for this film directed by Steven Caple Jr. (The Land). Recall that Creed 2 is the sequel to Creed: The Legacy of Rocky Balboa, directed by Ryan Coogler (Black Panther). It became the eighth film in the Rocky series.
Creed 2 will talk about the moment when boxer Adonis had to face Viktor Drago, the son of the one who once killed his father Apollo Creed in the ring. Rocky Balboa will be there to advise him and help him prepare as best as possible. It still lacks the posters of Dolph Lundgren, back 30 years after Rocky IV and Florian Munteanu in the roles of father and son, Ivan and Viktor Drago. Let's hope these other posters won't be long in coming out.
To discover this boxing film, it will be necessary to wait for its release in theaters, scheduled for January 9, 2019 in France.
