Sailor Moon, the famous series of Takeuchi Naoko, is back on the front of the stage with the release of a new trailer for his next film, Sailor Moon Eternal! Indeed, it is via the official website of the saga that we had the pleasure of discovering the new images of the first film Sailor Moon Eternal. This series is, we remind you, composed of two films. The first film is scheduled to be released on January 08, 2021 in Japanese cinemas. The second film should be released a few weeks later, on February 11, 2021.

In this short video, we (re)discover with pleasure the different sailors, including Usagi and Chibiusa! Action, suspense and emotion should be at the rendezvous! Regarding the staff, the two animation studios in charge of the anime are the DEEN studio, which you may have known thanks to the series Sakamoto desu ga? and Toei Animation, known for its various adaptations, including the latest Dragon Quest: Dai no Daibouken ! On the director's side, we find with satisfaction Kon Chiaki, who participated, we remind you, in the realization of Naruto Shippuden ! Tadano Kazuko, meanwhile, is the character designer of the series! She was also character designer for the original series. For the scenario, we find Fudeyasu Kazuyuki who offered us, among other series, Claymore or Nana ! Finally, everything is supervised by the creator of the original series, Takeuchi Naoko. The Sailor Moon saga!
For those who have not yet had the pleasure of discovering this iconic series, here is a brief recap. Sailor Moon, is, at the very beginning of its story, a manga finished in 18 volumes. Published in the 90's by Glénat Manga, Sailor Moon is probably one of the greatest references of the Shojo genre.
The story plunges you into the daily life of Bunny Rivière (Usagi Tsukino), a boisterous and awkward 14-year-old schoolgirl. Following her encounter with Luna, a cat with a strange crescent moon on her forehead, her life will change as she will become a Sailor Moon with magical powers. With her friends, also endowed with magical powers, they will fight together to protect Earth from the forces of evil controlled by the infamous Queen Beryl.
This was followed by various sequels and adaptations, both in manga and anime. Victim of its success, the series has also been adapted into video games. For 25 years now, the Sailor Moon saga has made a place for itself in Japanese culture and has been exported to the rest of the world.
