Great news for Food Wars (Shokugeki no Souma), the famous anime inspired by the eponymous manga by Tsukuda Yuuto and Tosh! And for you if you are a fan! Because the anime is back for a third season!
Indeed, it was in the last issue of Shonen Jump that the news broke. This third season, titled Shokugeki no Souma: San no Sara (Food Wars: The Third Plate) would be broadcast next fall ! In other words, the wait will be short-lived!
Regarding the synopsis, this third season will follow Soma's fight against the Council of Ten.
Regarding the staff, we have the pleasure of finding the same animation studio, J.C. Staff only for seasons 1 & 2 of Food Wars. On the production side, always the same chef, Yonetani Yoshitomo! On the scenario and character design side, we find Food Wars regulars Shitaya Tomoyuki and Yasukawa Shogo, not to mention that on the music side, Kato Tatsuya will continue to lead the baton!
For those who have not yet immersed themselves in this series, we remind you that the manga currently has 17 volumes in France (24 volumes in Japan) published by Delcourt/Tonkam. Not to mention that the anime has 2 seasons of 24 and 13 episodes available at ADN ! The spin-off, Food Wars – The Star, with 3 volumes for now (4 in Japan) is also available at Delcourt/Tonkam!

Sôma Yukihira trains tirelessly to fulfill her dream: to take over from her father at the head of their small restaurant. Unfortunately, his plans are disrupted the day his father unexpectedly accepts a position in a New York palace. Sôma is then sent to the prestigious culinary school Tootsuki which trains the elite of chefs! Determined not to disappoint her father, Sôma will have to pass the difficult entrance test of the beautiful and talented Erina Nakiri better known as the Divine Palace!
