Synopsis :
The story tells the incredible romance of 2 teenagers separated by thousands of kilometers.
Mitsuha is a high school student who lives deep in the countryside with her little sister and grandmother. She has a difficult relationship with her father, the mayor of the village, who is often absent.On the other hand, Taki is an architecture-loving high school student who lives in Tokyo and works part-time in an Italian restaurant.For a certain night, Mitsuha and Taki will begin to find themselves from time to time in each other's bodies and have to lead their respective lives…
We do not know much more about the film yet, we still have to wait for a subtitled version and more information about the plot of the story. We recognize the colors and atmospheres that make Shinkai's paste. The very detailed lights and scenery, the skies in magical colors and colorful characters, we expected no less from the director of the excellent The Garden of Words and Journey to Agartha. The film will be screened in Japanese theaters next August, we will keep you informed of its French release.
