He was the director of the Vengeance trilogy with Old Boy, Sympathy for Mister Vengeance and Lady Vengeance. He won the grand prize at the 2007 Cannes Film Festival for Old Boy, here he is finally back on the big screens. Park Chan-wook signs his latest feature film: Mademoiselle. The film, adapted from the novel by Sarah Waters, takes us to the 30s, during the Japanese colonization.A young woman (Sookee) is hired as a servant of a rich Japanese woman (Hideko), living reclusive in a huge mansion under the thumb of a tyrannical uncle. But Sookee has a secret. With the help of a con artist posing as a Japanese count, they have other plans for Hideko…
