The Augustines group delivered its last Parisian concert last night at the Boule Noire. A pure moment of euphoria with the fans who came to say goodbye.

An appointment that should not be missed. The Augustines audience was present for this final concert, ready to enjoy one last time the members of the Group for an unforgettable show.

    Laughter and music

Since its formation in 2010, the band has forged a loyal community of diehard fans around the world. Fans with whom the band exchanges, jokes, tells, plays. On stage, their communicative energy and great generosity illuminate hearts. So much so that as the stage disappears, there is no more audience, more than people who gather to sing, laugh and share. This is the strength of the group, which has created a bond that goes beyond the show to simply be human.

The personality of Billy McCarthy and the complicity of the members have a lot to do with it. After more than 2 hours (!) Concerts, trumpets, anecdotes and jokes, a frantic reminder of the audience brings them back on stage to prolong the pleasure. Billy begins an improvised blues "I have no voice oh yeahhhh", then covers other songs. 3 hours of concert in total. And we didn't see the time pass.

    A testimony of love

"Stay in Paris!" "We love you!" No, the people present that night did not want to let them go. Augustines will remain in the hearts, leaving behind 3 albums: Rise Ye Sunken Ships (2011), Augustines (2014) and This Is Your Life (2016) and a host of memories for those who had the chance to attend one of their concerts. And who knows, maybe one day the demon of music will take them back. Their European tour will end on October 31 in Liverpool; for those interested, you can find the next concert dates on the official website of the Group.

RISE: The Story Of Augustines must see!

The documentary film by Todd Howe (a longtime friend of the band) will be released in early 2017. Funded on Kickstarter by his fans, it tells the story of Augustines through their European tour. But not only: "We hope that this film will inspire people and inspire them to follow their dreams".

Enough to prolong the pleasure, and share, in another way this time, the intimacy of the group.
