After a release on PS Vita in 2016 in Japan, the game Labyrinth of Refrain: Coven of Dusk is finally announced for Europe and the American continent!
Nis America accentuates its desire to offer Japanese RPGs to the rest of the world. This weekend, they unveiled at their press conference for the West their 2018 line-up, and among these announcements is a "new opus" that was previously silent. The dungeon-RPG Labyrinth of Refrain: Coven of Dusk is confirmed for Europe and the North American continent for autumn 2018. This port undergoes some changes, since the original PS Vita version is shelved, while the platforms announced here are the PS4 and the Nintendo Switch on the physical and dematerialized side, while the PC version will only be on Steam.
On the other hand, good news for us, the game will benefit from a French translation in the same way as Ys VIII.
Labyrinth of Refrain: Coven of Dusk tells the story of the witch Dronya as she bursts into the city of Refrain with a brigade of puppet soldiers, which she commands with a strange book called Tractatus de Monstrum, to explore a gigantic maze filled with miasma and unravel its secrets. In this old-fashioned dungeon-RPG, the player will customize and command his troop of artificial soldiers by assigning them different roles and skills as they descend into the depths of the maze.
