At JustFocus, we love all styles of music. And so that your playlist is never too dated, our team of editors offers you at the beginning of the week the playlist of the editorial #50, a selection of 10 freshly released tracks. From Die Antwoord to PVRIS via Haim, here is a 360-degree tour of the latest news to add to your playlist!

    Emma's choice

    Die AntwoordLove Drug

It's the return of the South African duo we know and love with the first single from what seems to be their last album. We find Ninja and Yo-Landi in a hymn to love added to an instrumental based on powerful bass. A pure and crescendo statement that makes you want to hear more from the next album (cf. The Book of Zef), and that definitely confirms the love we had for them. We note that they spend June 24 in Marseille at the Marsatac festival and July 1 at Main Square.

    The choice of Itscanek

    HalseyEyes Closed

2nd single from the new album Hopeless Fountain Kingdom by alternative pop singer Halsey. Written with the help of Abel Tesfaye, known as The Weeknd, the track continues with the same dark and hard atmosphere of Badlands, his first studio album. Hopeless Fountain Kingdom will be released on June 2 with collaborations from Norwegian DJ Cashmere Cat, Migos rapper Quavo and Fifth Harmony member Lauren Jauregui.

    Nothing But ThievesAmsterdam

After their success last year in the first part of Muse, the young English of Nothing But Thieves are preparing to release a new album, Broken Machine, already on pre-order and which will be released on September 8th. A new clip appeared this week and it announces that good for the future. We can't wait!

    PVRISHeaven

PVRIS was in concert on May 8th at the Trabendo and we are very much looking forward to telling you about this concert that our team attended. In the meantime, the band has just released a new black and white music video, powerful and strange at the same time. We are of course captivated by the charisma and incredible voice of Lyndsey Gunnulfsen. Thrills guaranteed!

    Ólafur ArnaldsThe Final Chapter

We discovered him 2 years ago during his visit to Paris for the Chopin Project. Olafur Arnalds recently released a beautiful track that I can't help but share with you. Excerpt from the soundtrack of Broadchurch, he gives us a composition from the last season, a journey. Close your eyes and let yourself be carried away…

    Yoke Lore World Wings

If you don't have anything scheduled for June 1st, we highly recommend that you go to the Etoiles de Paris, this small room that will host not only Tom Walker, but also Yoke Lore. Originally from Brooklyn, they released a second EP on June 16 after the hit Hold Me Down. Benevolent and warm music!

    ULYSSESAcid ft. Roméo Elvis

With several EPs to their credit in which we could listen to Cashmere Guns and Wounds, Ulysses returns with Belgian rapper Romeo Elvis. Even if we do not necessarily adhere to the lyrics and the uncertain flow, we can only remain excited by the music of the group Ulysses, a flexible and catchy electro tinged with pop-rock.

Beth Ditto – Oo La La

History to conclude in a groovy way, this is enough to sway you to the music of the wonderful Beth Ditto. A title where she sings in French on the chorus (yes yes), which will be our pleasure to be in concert in Paris on October 7th. A concert not to be missed when you know its energy and fun!

    Soraya's Choice

    HAIMWant You Back

What can I say, apart from "YEAAAAAAAAAH!"? The coolest girls in pop/rock music are FINALLY back. After scouring festivals and appearing in almost all of Taylor Swift's Instagram photos, Este, Danielle and Alana are about to release their second album. As an aperitif, here is Want You Back, a first single slightly funky / electro. Just enough to sway while waiting for spring to return!

    Melaine's choice

    RilèsThe Cleaning Lady

20 years old, from Rouen, young rising talent. He sings, he raps, he produces his instrumentals and clips himself: a complete artist at his age and already well launched. He releases a new sound every Sunday for his playlist "Rilèsundayz".
