Located in the 14th and 15th arrondissements of Paris, the Chaplin Denfert and Chaplin St Lambert cinemas are two independent cinemas committed to offering the best of current auteur cinema, in offbeat release.
This year, from July 5 to 26, Christophe Honoré is in the spotlight. On the occasion of the release of Plaire, aimer et courir vite on May 10, Chaplin cinemas took the opportunity to present a retrospective of the French filmmaker.Expert in portraying the intensity of human feelings, Honoré has been telling raw, daring stories since his beginnings, full of melancholy and musicality. Five films have been selected from his brilliant career: Dans Paris (2006), Les chansons d'amour (2007), Les bien-aimés (2011), Les malheurs de Sophie (2016), Plaire, aimer et courir vite (2018).
