Civilization VI: The Aztecs and Moctezuma I in Early Access!

    2K and Firaxis Games will make people happy by allowing anyone who pre-orders Sid Meier's Civilization VI to play Moctezuma I in Early Access on October 21, 2016.

    Born in 1398, Moctezuma I was the fifth king of the city of Tenochtitlán and the second emperor of the Aztecs. He reigned supreme for 29 years and allowed a significant expansion of the Aztec Empire thanks to the Triple Alliance. He is also the king who allowed many sumptuary laws such as reducing the consumption of products and limiting decadent lifestyles.

    Moctezuma I died in 1469, following a death of unknown cause. Axayacatl his 19-year-old son was then his legitimate successor, named Moctezuma II, and lost face to Hernán Cortés and his group of conquistadors. In the game, Moctezuma I has a special skill: "Offerings to the Tlatoani", useful for the activities of the kingdom. The Eagle Warrior is the exclusive unit of Aztec society. Thanks to this titanic warrior, dead units can be changed into builders.
