    New week, new films on display. From Ant-Man and the Wasp, to Break or Maya the Bee, this Wednesday's cinema releases go through all genres to please the youngest and the oldest. To your notebooks!


    Ant-Man and the Wasp

    Action and science fiction film directed by Peyton Reed, starring Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Michael Peña.

    Synopsis : Scott Lang struggles to balance his life as a superhero and his responsibilities as a father. But his thoughts on the consequences of his choices are cut short when Hope van Dyne and Dr. Hank Pym entrust him with a new urgent mission… Scott will have to re-put on his costume and learn to fight alongside the Wasp in order to shed light on long-held secrets…


    Dakini

    Venture film directed by Dechen Roder, avec Jamyang Jamtsho Wangchuk, Sonam Tashi Choden, Chencho Dorji.

    Synopsis : Detective Kinley investigates the disappearance of a Buddhist nun. He forms a stormy alliance with the main suspect, Choden, an attractive woman considered by the villagers to be a "demon".


    Station wagon

    Dramatic comedy directed by Marc Fouchard, with Sabrina Ouazani, Kevin Mischel, Hassam Ghancy.

    Synopsis : Following a serious accident, Lucie fears that her life's dream of becoming a dancer will be shattered. She leaves the beautiful neighborhoods and goes to the suburbs in search of the father she never knew. The young woman meets Vincent, an ex-dancer who has strangely sacrificed his passion. Pushed by Malik, his long-time accomplice, he agrees to coach her and introduces her to a new style of dance, the break.


    Leaning in the wind

    Documentary directed by Thomas Riedelsheimer, withAndy Goldsworthy.

    Synopsis : 16 years after Rivers and Tides, Thomas Riedelsheimer and Andy Goldsworthy collaborate again. In the duo's 2nd documentary, we find the sculptor Andy Goldsworthy and the evolution of his work through time and nature. He adds other elements to the equation, including his own body, making his works more personal, delicate and stronger.


    The Guilty

    Thriller directed by Gustav Möller, starring Jakob Cedergren, Jakob Ulrik Lohmann, Laura Bro.

    Synopsis : A woman, victim of a kidnapping, contacts the emergency room of the police. The line is cut abruptly. To find her, the police officer who received the call can only rely on his intuition, his imagination and his phone.


    The Last Movie

    Drama directed by Dennis Hopper, starringKris Kristofferson, Henry Jaglom, Don Gordon. 

    Synopsis : A film crew came to shoot a western in a Peruvian village nestled in the Andes. Once the film is over, all Americans leave, except Kansas, one of the stuntmen who wants to take a step back from Hollywood and settle in the area with Maria, a former prostitute. 


    My Reum

    Comedy directed by Frédéric Quiring, with Audrey Lamy, Charlie Langendries, Max Boublil.

    Synopsis : Everything is going well in Fanny's uneventful life… until one day she discovers that her beloved son, Arthur, 9, is the scapegoat of three boys from her school. Fanny will not leave her son alone in front of his little executioners: she will give these dirty kids the change of their coin. 


    Black River

    Thriller directed by Erick Zonca, with Vincent Cassel, Romain Duris, Sandrine Kiberlain.

    Synopsis : Within the Arnault family, Dany, the eldest son, disappears. François Visconti, a police commander worn out by his profession, is put on the case. The man goes in search of the teenager while he is reluctant to take care of his own son, Denis, sixteen years old who seems to be involved in drug trafficking.


    Come as you are

    Drama directed by Desiree Akhavan, starring Chloë Grace Moretz, Sasha Lane, John Gallagher Jr.

    Synopsis : Pennsylvania, 1993. Welcome to God's Promise, a secluded facility in the heart of the Rockies. Cameron has just settled there. Here, like her comrades, she is delivered to Mrs. Marsh who has made it her mission to put these lost souls back on the right path.

    Thriller directed by Patricia Mazuy, with Laurent Lafitte, Zita Hanrot, Philippe Girard.

    Synopsis : Paul Sanchez, criminal missing for ten years, was seen at the station of Les Arcs sur Argens. At the gendarmerie, we do not believe it, except perhaps the young Marion…


    Maya the Bee 2 – The Honey Games

    Animated film directed by Noel Cleary, Sergio Delfino, Alexs Stadermann, with Jenifer Bartoli, Lou Jean, Theresa Zertani.

    Synopsis : Maya will finally participate in the Great Honey Games! The stakes are high: Maya must absolutely win, otherwise she will have to deliver all the honey from her hive to the Empress of the bees! Maya, Willy and their friends will have to surpass themselves to beat Violette's team, an opponent as cunning and clever as bad player!

    Drama directed by Gaya Jiji, starring Manal Issa, Ula Tabari, Souraya Baghdadi.

    Synopsis : Damascus, March 2011. Nahla is a young single woman who leads a dreary life in a Syrian suburb, alongside her mother and two sisters. The day she is introduced to Samir, a Syrian expat from the United States looking for a wife, she dreams of a better life.
