The streaming channel of the giant Amazon is currently preparing a new drama series. Small detail more than interesting: we should find in the cast the Oscar winners Robert De Niro and Julianne Moore, just that!
Created by David O. Russell, to whom we owe The Kings of the Desert in 1999 and Joy in 2015, this new untitled drama series has just been confirmed by Amazon Prime, and for two seasons at once that is!
A commitment of 160 million dollars for the streaming channel, but with a director nominated for the Oscars for Happiness Therapy or The Figther, and especially two huge actors like Robert De Niro and Julianne Moore, we can be reassured!
The two seasons will each consist of 8 episodes and will focus on the world of crime and the mafia, a universe in which Robert De Niro is broken, after films like The Freedmen, The Godfather or Casino. A nice move for Amazon Prime, which signs its second collaboration with the production studio The Weinstein Company!
