Albé releases a new single from Side A Side B, a beautiful session for Les Yeux Bas, a title that speaks with emotion of the birth of love.

After 100 Degrees, Albé releases a new single, Les Yeux Bas, to discover in a magnificent session.

Albé is far from being a beginner, since with his sister, he had founded the group Singtank, signed with Warner, and delivered two very pop albums: the first In Wonder, in the style of Yodelice, was produced by Nellee Hooper (Massive Attack); the second, Ceremonies, carried the sound of production guru Samy Osta (Fire! Chatterton, The Woman, Rover). Oscillating between English and French, Albé puts his soft voice on melodies woven in chiffon, mounted on cushions of vaporous and purple air ("Gene", "Valises"). All this tells the story of this fragile and secret love. Albé then breaks his voice on "Henri", a waltz and indolent piece, surrounded by dry guitar and violins, and he shows all his sensitivity with the title Les Yeux Bas. This session was recorded, produced and mixed by Samy Osta (La Femme, Feu! Chatterton, Juniore) in his studio.

Here is the video of the Low Eyes of Albé:

With his liberated and liberating pop, deliberately crazy and excessive, Albé goes from raging verses to more lyrical choruses, from a love lament to a nervous rock, and juggles from French to English without complex. Face A Face B by Alexandre De La Baume is so successful that we wanted to know a little more. We were not disappointed: more romantic, you die. We find Alexandre de La Baume solo for this very convincing project, this time sung in French. Between Californian pop luxuriance and seventies variety, Face A Side B is a beautiful melodic richness, a treasure chest for lovers of quality pop.
