From the top of its 3 albums, the group AaRON really triumphed Tuesday, September 27 at the Yoyo in Paris. A full and conquered house that celebrated the French duo with dignity.

It had been 4 months since this concert was sold out and we had to play a little elbows to find a place. The Yoyo, located at the foot of the Palais de Tokyo was packed and the public was trembling with impatience.

Simon Buret and Olivier Coursier were not desired for long. Just on stage, they offer two of their new titles: Magnetic Road and Onassis. A beautiful appetizer that electrifies fans. And this is just the beginning, since they continue with Blow, one of the flagship titles of their first album, which has become essential. We get carried away and vibrate on a slightly more fishy version.

The show promises to be of very good quality and will continue wonderfully. We feel that the arrangements are more electro, darker. The deep beats give a new power and amplitude to their titles. Yoyo is totally euphoric! A little nod to their second album, Seeds of Gold.

Simon is already at his best and gives everything he has ; He communicates cheerfully with the audience and is enthusiastic about their reactions. He congratulates himself for having managed to fill the hall well before the concert date and expresses his joy and gratitude. The following piece encourages us to cultivate our difference and keep what makes each of us unique, but also to come together like tonight. He jokes that there must be a lot of proximity in the room. We are indeed rather tight and it is very hot. He then sings Ride On !

Simon continues to heat the room blank. The concert is in full swing when the title O-Song begins. It is then up to the whole of Amr your eyes to rise with grace; The song gradually increases in intensity. We then realize that a superb lighting has been made and we salute the work of the technicians

The duo AaRON makes us travel between the different albums but with a sound that seems rawer, more intense in general.

Simon then asks, "Who knows how to do Yoyo?… Well ok it sucks, I promised myself not to make a joke… " It's failed! He then tells us how they discovered this room for the first time, during a strange evening where many dancers, quite naked seemed to share tender moments of love in the wetness of an electro event. They then came out with a strange impression without knowing that a few months later, it would be decided that their tour would go through there.

The next song is about crazy love, the importance of sharing your feelings: "And too bad if you're in pain, it proves that you're alive". A Thousand WarsOlivier on guitar and Simon on vocals, alone on stage. This acoustic version gives chills. A religious silence accompanies them, followed by thunderous applause.

Simon then announces "Memory of a first date that lasts a little": U-Turn (Lili). It is thanks to this piece that we discovered them and it is not without surprise that we discover a new arrangement; it sounds like Massive Attack and the piano part is replaced by a more acidic, sharper synth sound.

The other musicians return and the concert resumes on more recent titles. The heavy beat then gives more depth, and we end up with completely soaring passages like Invisible Stains. They are then accompanied by KCPK on Blouson Noir. A nice surprise!

Simon then divides the room in two and plays with the audience before making them actively participate by singing it. These liberating cries pushed in unison by one half, then the other and finally the Yoyo in full are the highlight of this concert. Simon, like a conductor has a great time!

In any case, the duo has clearly gained stage presence. This new album gives them an opportunity to play even more with their audience and lead them with more danceable tracks.

The concert ends on We Cut The Night before a first encore of 4 other titles. Among them, Shades of Blue with a magnificent laser game and an apotheosis ending; then the eagerly awaited The Leftovers which will completely ignite the room.

To our surprise, Simon and Olivier return to the stage for a second encore. A cover of Ride On where he asks the public to participate to make "the cries of wolves".

A superb evening and an exceptional concert for a French band apart and that we appreciate a lot. We are now very curious to know what will look like at the next Parisian concert in the highly esteemed Salle Pleyel… Maybe something more orchestral or acoustic? Follow…
