The Annecy Festival is an opportunity for animation studios to present their latest projects. Warner Bros chose this opportunity to announce the return of our childhood heroes: The Looney Tunes ! Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, Taz and many other iconic characters will be the stars of a series of about fifty episodes. Episodes should be one to six minutes long, for 1,000 minutes of content in total. The animated series will be made using original animation techniques, to please lifelong fans. Many artists will create "simple, gag-based stories and dynamic visuals.The voice cast will be composed of well-known actors at Warner Bris: Eric Bauza (Woody Woodpecker), Jeff Bergman (various characters including Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck) and Bob Bergen (Porky Pig).

Although they are still dashing, the Looney Tunes are no longer young! They were first broadcast on television in 1930. Bugs Bunny and his friends have experienced many changes but have always been able to seduce children. Their popularity has allowed them to move from one medium to another without problems. The cartoons were spread over several series. The Looney Tunes have known the big screens of cinema with Who wants Roger Rabbit's skin? or Space Jam. Bugs Bunny has invaded comics and comics , even offering himself a cross-over with Batman ! More than twenty video games have been released, as well on Gameboy as on Wii, Playstation or PC. Since 1930, all generations of children have enjoyed Looney Tunes in thousands of adventures. No doubt that the upcoming series will find its audience without worries.
