Cursed finally has its first trailer to make subscribers of the famous platform wait. This new series will star Katherine Langford, known for her role in the controversial series 13 Reasons Why. She will be joined by Gustaf Skarsgård (Vikings, Westworld) and Devon Terrell (Barry).
First images around the legendary Excalibur
The adaptation of Frank Miller's graphic novel (Sin City) immediately plunges us into a dark and bloody Middle Ages, with careful first images. The heroine, Nimue (young version of the Lady of the Lake) engages in a rebellion against the Red Paladins and King Uther (Sebastian Armesto) after the massacre of her family. It is not long before we see a Gustaf Skarsgård, mystic Merlin, it would seem in possession of the legendary Excalibur. Soon after, it appears to be owned by Nimue. Arthur also makes a brief appearance in this first trailer. In front of him, a man brandishes this sword, but falls in front of the one he faces… The power of the legendary weapon is therefore not within everyone's reach. The sword, as these first extracts tell us, chooses its owner: a queen. This choice raises many questions, but questions us about that of young woman, at first ordinary glance. We don't know any more at the moment about the powers she holds, but we assume they will help her in her quest. After all, this young woman is indeed destined to become the Lady of the Lake, sometimes called Fairy Viviane. These first images announce an epic first season, against a backdrop of war and religious fanaticism. It will take a little more patience before discovering the episodes of this rewrite. This teaser seems in any case to have convinced Internet users to be at the rendezvous. The first season of Cursed will be available July 17 on Netflix.
