Composed of six artists, the rock band Animal Triste released their 1st eponymous album on December 4, 2020. A true declaration of love to rock'n'roll, the Norman band, notably influenced by the Doors, brings together in this first opus all the specific codes of a raw and instinctive rock. Lascivious guitars, cavernous voices and roaring bass, the band oscillates between melancholy and optimism, darkness and light. The Sad Animals present an album out of these dark times and refer to an era where authenticity and simplicity sprang from the strumming of a guitar or the vocal cords of a rocky voice. Finally, the nostalgia and affection that these artists show in a simpler era powerfully bring out paradoxical and yet so complementary feelings.
