Noucky's picks
Bertrand Cantat – England
The committed singer is back after the success of Detroit ! Bertrand Cantat unveils a first title of his next album which will be released next December. England is a little rock ballad whose lyrics are worthy of its author: frank, direct, uncompromising… It is a real pleasure to find this way of writing, strong and moving at the same time, and this rough voice that although calm on this title still has this deep conviction that it shares: Brexit, migrants, borders… Current issues that concern us all!(listen here)
Gunwood – More (feat. Ben Uncle Soul)
After featuring Hugh Coltman, it's Ben l'Oncle Soul 's turn to accompany Gunwood, this French blues band that smells of the Great West and that we told you about earlier this year. They are in concert this week, on October 12th at La Maroquinerie and we highly recommend them!
Shaka Ponk – Mysterious Ways
It is with a completely crazy clip that the Shaka Ponk make us wait before the release of their next album, The Evol', scheduled for November 17th. The rock band has lost none of its barred and virtual universe in which the singer fits perfectly. The band will be on tour from January 20, 2018 throughout the France and it will be necessary to wait until March 23 to see them at the Accorhotels Arena in Paris.
Max Future – Underwater Flip (feat. Lo Swing)
Do you know Maurice the extraterrestrial? This recently released ex-drug dealer is now interested in dance. This is the delirium in which Max Future embarks us in his latest clip for his title Underwater, recently released under the label Panache. We are in a completely different register than the previous Till You Let Go, but we are all the more pleasantly surprised by the richness of this EP001. To follow then!
Childeric's choices
Sander W. – Desert Hills (Ft Alexandra)
Supported by Robin Schulz, Sam Feldt, Boehm and others, Belgian producer Sander W. released a new track Deep House soft and minimalist in its melody. With the calm and calm voice of a certain Alexandra, the track is short but quite funky. The "free download" that makes you happy, Sander W puts a little heat back in this autumnal moment of October.
Keeno – Light Cascading (feat. Becca Jane Grey)
Keeno is set to release his new album All The Shimmering Things next month (November 3rd to be precise). It is available for pre-order on online stores. Drum N'Bass calm and relaxing as usual with perfect lyrics to accompany you on your weekend and enjoy a good weekend. Enjoy this little audio teaser featuring Becca Jane Grey, one of the 12 tracks of the album.
Soybean Choices
Charlie Puth – How Long
After Attention, which runs in loop on our radios, here is How Long, the new single of Charlie Puth. Always funky, still danceable, How Long remains consistent with the style of the young Puth. Let's just hope for a little more originality in the rest of the album…
P!nk – Whatever You Want
There was a lot of talk about P!nk after the last MTV Video Music Awards, where the young woman marked the spirits with a beautiful speech about loving each other and sending the critics away. We now find her with her latest title, Whatever You Want, from the album Beautiful Trauma which will be released on October 13. The least we can say is that P!nk has lost none of his natural rock'n'roll!
Emma's choices
Rich Chigga – Chaos
Rich Chigga is an Indonesian comedian, part-time rapper, but any joke except his songs hold up. After a few collaborations with famous artists of the US and South Korean scene, and a lot of songs released, we can say that his music exceeds the ironic character that was given to him. Chaos is a mastered track with impressive rhythm and prod', and humorous innuendos: in short, a perfect demonstration of what Rich Chigga can do.
Maroon 5, Julia Michaels – Help Me Out
In all honesty, we would never have expected this collaboration to be out of the ordinary, and yet Maroon 5 and Julia Michaels surprised us. Taken from the new album Red Pills Blues of the Californian band which will be released on November 3rd, Help Me Out is well worth seeing. The instrumental is confusing, Adam Levine's slightly modified voice contrasts with Julia Michaels', more raw, and the whole gives a rather chilly and relatively positive song. No surprise in terms of lyrics, it is indeed a pop song, but the recipe works and we ask for more!
