Simon's choices

EchosmithDear World

In 2014, we discovered their first album Talking Dreams all cute with titles like Cool Kids, Come Together and Bright mixing pop and nice rock. For a few months, the group was back but the result was far from being as good… Goodbye and Future Me looked like classic electro songs that you hear everywhere, far removed from the style and quality of the first album. However, Dear World returns to basics with an emotional touch. We just have to wait which way the second album will lean, which will surely be released in the coming months.

LordeHomemade Dynamite (feat. Khalid, SZA & Post Malone)

The basic song was already one of the pearls of Melodrama, the second opus of the young New Zealand singer Lorde. This remix accompanied by his three acolytes SZA, Khalid (who will open for him on the Melodrama Tour) and Post Malone gives even more punch to Homemade Dynamite ! We are only waiting for one thing with impatience: the concerts of Lorde in Paris and Lyon. Do we find you there?

YelleRomeo

Forget all your prejudices about the singer and listen to Romeo ! Everything has changed since I want to see you and other featurings with Fatal Bazooka, his last album Complètement fou was already extremely addictive. This last single is a pop anthem whose chorus remains just as much in mind, as well as Interpassion. Yelle kicks off her long North American tour in a few days with full dates in New York and Los Angeles. If you don't trust me, trust the Americans!

The choice of Soya

Anne-MarieHeavy

After Ciao Adios and Alarm, the talented Anne-Marie presents her new single, Heavy. Always tinged with a reggae flow and a few touches of electro, the style of the young artist is confirmed more and more. Produced by the teams of Zayn Malik, Drake and Zara Larsson, Heavy is the perfect title to help you get out of bed!

Léa's choice

Fall Out BoyThe Last Of The Real Ones

Fall Out Boy returns with M A N I A, their 7th album. The American group, idol of teenagers in the early 2000s has still not lost its talent for writing catchy songs, with the voice so recognizable Patrick Stump.

Noucky's picks

Mai LanNo Love

After an EP that got festival-goers moving this summer, Mai Lan hypnotizes us with a new title. His super aesthetic clip literally stuck with us and we can't wait to hear his next album, Autopilote, which will be released on November 3rd. In the meantime, you prove to read his interview at Solidays by Justfocus!

 Maggie RogersSplit Stones

The little protégé of Pharell Williams gives us a clip in the form of a souvenir video of her tour. A title that exudes joie de vivre and good humor, that puts the fishing and that leaves us in memory the wonderful smile of the young Maggie. It stays in mind and we love it!

Azelice's choice

Mr YéyéScream for me

It is an ode to music that Mr Yéyé offers us in the last title from his next album Hybride expected on October 6th. Changing his habits a little, he swapped French for English to pay tribute "to the rock of the 90s, to those bands that founded the music he listens to today, Rage Against The Machine, Korn, Deftones, Nirvana". And he doesn't have to turn pale! On Scream for me, he joins his voice with those of Tip Stevens, Léman and Unlockhart to take us to the guts as he did on his most striking songs. A welcome innovation: despite big favorites for his songs in French, this title is once again a real success from all points of view.

X Ambassadors – Ahead Of Myself

The alternative rock quartet is back this week with the video for their latest single, released in July. The leader Sam Harris appears simultaneously alone or accompanied by his friends, and the simplicity of the clip fits perfectly with the power of the song. No need for more to put what seems to be the new anthem of the group, in the light. Fourth track released this year, we do not know if we should wait for an EP or an album, but what is certain is that X Ambassadors has not planned French dates for the moment…

San CiscoThe Distance

From the album The Water, released last May, The Distance is the right song to get to know the Australian pop band: San Cisco. Like the sunny clip, The Distance is 4 minutes of pop embellished with relatively surprising sounds for an indie group single. Nevertheless, the cocktail works quietly, and we find ourselves caught up in the beautiful images of the clip (where appears in particular Scarlett Stevens the drummer of the group). If it's a little late for a French date (they were in Paris on September 9th), all you have to do is fight to find a place and a plane ticket for the Spilt Milk festival in Australia, on November 25th!
