YonakaCreature

A few days before the release of their EP Creatures, available on November 9th, Yonaka has just unveiled a new excerpt. Creatures is a title that we adhere to from the first listen, especially due to this chorus of the most heady. Wardruna and Aurora Helvegen

As we prepare to meet Aurora and cover her concert on Tuesday, we take this opportunity to share with you one of her many collaborations with the world of pagan folk, including the band Wardruna. Their sound became known through the soundtrack of the Vikings series. On November 23rd , Skald will be released, an album featuring a number of these compositions. Einar Selvik explains in a video that "this album aims to give a voice to an art once at the heart of the Nordic oral tradition, having taken shape today in the hands of a humble contemporary scalde." A very nice trip that we will tell you about soon!

SKÁLDÓ Valhalla

In the same spirit of returning to the Nordic roots, there is SKÁLD, also poets who revive the Viking tradition. Born from the meeting of producer and composer Christophe Voisin-Boisvinet with Justine Galmiche, Pierrick Valence and Mattjö Haussy, an incredible trio of singers with atypical timbres, this project is the expression of a strong passion and a concern for historical transcription. Their music is deep, powerful and magical at the same time. An ancient magic that is hard to resist. Their album, Le Chant Des Vikings, will be released on January 18th and they will be in concert on February 20th at La Cigale. You can now reserve your seats!

The Good, The Bad & The QueenMerrie Land

Eleven years ago,Blur and Gorillaz singer Damon Albarn teamed up with other musicians to create an album called The Good, the Bad & The Queen. Against all odds, the eponymous band has reappeared and will release a new album on November 16. His song Merrie Land, which announces it, is a bittersweet lament, floating on synths, sparkling guitar sounds, whose lyrics are heard like a letter of national rupture, in the middle of Brexit, while on screen Damon Albarn plays a haunting, sad and dishevelled pantomime.

Indian WellsPhase Transition (feat. Audego)

The Calabrian musician Pietro Iannuzzi, who juggles between techno and ambient offers us a continuous and magnificent journey, of which Phase transition with the Australian duo Audego, is one of the 4 sequences. The musician's desire to capture moments of evolution and change operates through the use of modular synths, by which he shears, performs like electronic cuts with an optimistic rendering and skillfully composed.

Lauren Jauregui – Expectations Expectations

is indeed the right word to describe this song, as the expectation of this first solo single was great. Black and white clip, r'n'b instrumental and hoarse voice: you will not be surprised by the cocktail of this single, but you will surely not be disappointed. Presenting herself as the creative director of her first music video is not trivial, and Lauren Jauregui shows that she is now at the helm of her artistic project. To follow!

Dear LloydNone Of My Business

Almost four years after her last album, the former X Factor UK participant unveils the first single of her next album. None Of My Business takes over from Want U Back, Swagger Jagger or more recently Sirens, and shows that the singer is still able to release pop songs of a very honest quality. We can't wait to know more about her third album and to see her exploit a new visual identity, different from that of the video of None Of My Business, which is currently out of the ordinary.
