Marvel Studios has unveiled the first trailer for Thor: Ragnarok and the least we can say is that it's 100% muscle and rock 'n roll!
Watching the trailer of the film, we discover that the terrible Hela (Cate Blanchett) destroys Thor's hammer and annihilates Asgard. Thor is captured by Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson), brought to Grandmaster (Jeff Goldblum) and sent into the arena. He will have to confront his "colleague" the incredible Hulk in front of the grandmaster and his brother Loki (Tom Hiddleston) in order to recover his hammer and prevent Hela from performing Ragnarök.
In this new installment, Thor (Chris Hemsworth) is completely different from all the other Marvel movies and especially the first two movies based on this hero. Restyled for the occasion (without hair or hammer), Thor has however lost none of his courage or his mood (the joke at the end is just to bend with laughter) while Hulk is still as angry!
This 1st trailer is muscular and rock'n roll! Indeed, we hear the famous "Immigrant song", the best use since the trailer of the film "Millennium: the men who did not like women". This helps to make us want to know more about this 3rd opus.
At the end of March, James Gunn (director of Guardians of the Galaxy) declared that it was "the best Marvel trailer of all time". And he was not mistaken…
