Synopsis

Ten years have passed since the confrontation between Kira and L. Once again, the Shinigami send death notes to the ground and the world soon falls into chaos. Tsukuru is a member of the Death Note task force along with six other researchers (including Matsuda) who experienced Kira's case from 10 years ago.Mass murders caused by death notes are taking place on Wall Street in the United States, Shibuya in Japan and other places around the world. The notorious private detective Ryuzaki, who is L's rightful successor, is also investigating his mass murders. They discover that six death notes exist in the world.A computer virus called "Kira" is spreading around the world. A message in the virus in turn speaks of the presence of the six death notes. Can a person with six death notes overwhelm the world? The confrontation begins between the person who wants Kira's rebirth and the people who want to stop her.
