Since the beginning of its pre-publication in Akita Shoten's Shonen Champion in 2016, it regularly stands out in major awards (Osamu Tezuka Award, Manga Taishô Awards 2018, Japan Media Arts Festival…) because of its theme and treatment. Ki-oon will therefore start its fifteenth year of existence on a high note, and with this release scheduled for the end of January, we may have the chance to discover the author of this promising title in France, especially with the Angoulême festival which takes place during the same period!
