After the release of these first two singles, "Deprived" and "21Foy" on the compilation U.Baba Vol.1, the artist from the French electro scene Vayron, returns with his very first EP on December 18 entitled 2 years. Co-founder of the new label U.Baba Records, the electro artist plunges us into a universe with shimmering colors reflecting the emotions he seeks to explore.
"2 years", the result of a two-year introspection
Fascinated by minnows' eyes, which represent for the artist two phases, even two aspects of his personality, and inspiring his stage name, Vayron is a multifaceted artist. Drawing on a wide range of instruments and styles, he uses them to transcribe the emotions and thoughts that inhabit him in all their complexity. From Radiohead to classical artists such as Claude Debussy or important names on the international electronic scene such as Aphex Twin or Boards of Canada, Vayron explores and travels between all these universes to recreate his own: sensitive, organic and intuitive. In 2 years, composed and mixed over a period of 3 months, Vayron engages in a real exercise of self-exploration. Indeed, this first EP is the result of two years of reflection, two years of meditation, two years of personal deepening and journeys on events that have marked his life. Vayron, in this EP, testifies to his attraction for smart and specific combinations. Mixing piano and bass, his first love, with evolving electronic rhythms and a digital and analog synthesis, the EP is an assembly of pieces of the artist's identity. 2 years is composed of 5 pieces testifying to love, friendship, family: it is a statement to the cycle of life, passing from dark phases of questioning to phases of reconstruction and development. Also, this EP reveals the dimension of sharing that the artist wishes to infuse into his projects and his music.

"Family Masks" The first single from the EP was "Family Masks". Introduced by childish laughter and faint bells with a distant sound, "Family Masks" awakens and moves with its sweet melancholy and deep nostalgia. At the service of these two emotions, melodies and counter-melodies specific to classical, IDM and glitch beats, ambient pads as well as real soundscapes. By its invitation to contemplation, the subtle and airy atmosphere of "Family Masks", slightly recalls the first credits of the Skins series true ode to adolescence and its specific passions. "Love's Variation (Tilda's Theme)" The EP continues with the sound "Love's Variation". Like "Family Masks", the "Love's Variation" sound is light and subtle with tinting and melodic notes. There is a game of interesting variations giving way to all the sensations and all the magic and confusions that this feeling, Love, makes the one who feels it. Nevertheless, we see the graphic digital touch of Vayron in this sound of the EP. "Atlantic" "Atlantic", the third sound of the EP. Once again, the universe marking Vayron's music is found in "Atlantic", the productions of ambient pads combine and overlap with the musical compositions on the piano of the artist. Its sound universe, its chords and its colorful notes give way to daydreaming yet well anchored in reality and in the progress of a reflection on oneself. "In The Waters" The feeling of being in the middle of the ocean. Calm, slow, obstructed by all external agitations. "In The Waters" offers an immersive experience to listeners. Punctuated by melodic piano notes and sequences reminiscent of the sound of waves that alone break the silence of the immensity of the ocean, "In The Waters" reveals the idea of a retreat into a universe, its own universe. "Out of Darkness" Finally, the EP concludes with the frantic and haunting sound "Out of Darkness". After the immersion offered by "In The Waters", the sound is akin to a deep breath after a long apnea. Driven by a rhythm in 5, "Out of Darkness" destabilizes, carries away and captivates. Intriguing, the acid and melodic piano sequences that were the threads of the second part of the EP, drive the sound. The desire to dance until the end of the night in an electro party appears until the last seconds of "Out of Darkness" which frees the listener from this heady charm sound. 
The creation of the Parisian label, U.Baba Records.
In September 2020, born from the reunion of four long-time friends, the label U.Baba Records. Vayron, accompanied by his childhood friend Maxime Hénaux aka Bach Us and the brothers Beau, Nicolas and Thomas aka Misaïdu, founded the label after a personal search for their musical identities. In a desire to meet again following the affirmation of their universes and their aspirations, the quartet decided to form this Parisian label of electronic music in a process of promotion of a hybrid music and collaboration. Their wish: sharing. Create and exchange their passion collectively with other talented artists. However, this is not their first joint project. Before following their path individually, they were gathered for 2 years on the Tape In project. It is a musical group of psychedelic trip hop inspirations. On this project, the four acolytes have collaborated with many artists including the singer Sôra and the current drummer of the alternative group Mauvais œil, Diego Forst. The EP "2 years" is available on several streaming platforms (including SoundCloud, Amazon Music, Deezer, etc…).
