Who is behind the Musical Lama?
This sister duo was born about two years ago, starting by making vlogs on YouTube. Through their videos, Laura and Manon share with their community their many travels around the world. From Australia to New Zealand, these powerful experiences are a great source of inspiration for them. Their four-year stay in New Caledonia led them to explore singing in harmony. "We liked to play with our friends around the fire, singing compositions on the guitar," Manon recalls.
Teamwork above all
Far from being a difficulty, the great complicity of Laura and Manon is a strength that helps them in their compositional work. "We're not afraid to say things to each other," Laura explains. "We tell ourselves when we are not in the right tone, or when we need to change the air." If they sing together, each composes on its own, and the modifications are then made in common. Some of their compositions were even recorded in the studio, such as In Your Eyes and Dune du Pilat.
